Alia Bhatt is a British actress of Indian descent who is known for her portrayals of women in difficult circumstances. She was born on March 15, 1993 to filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and actress Soni Razdan. Bhatt has a biological sister, Shaheen Bhatt, and two half-siblings, Pooja Bhatt and Rahul Bhatt. She has been married to Ranbir Kapoor since 2022 and they have one child, Raha Kapoor
Bhatt made her acting debut in 1999 as a child artist in Sangharsh. She played her first leading role in 2012 in Karan Johar's teen film Student of the Year. She has been credited in 42 movies, including Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva, and Gangubai Kathiawadi. She has also received a National Film Award and five Filmfare Awards.
